Education Committee Meeting

The Education Committee is committed to advancing both the needs of our members and the students we serve. As part of this effort, we will: 

• Meet as an NFT Committee to review the school board committee agenda in advance;
• Attend NSD School Board meetings to represent and support the priorities of our membership. 

As outlined in our NFT Constitution, the Education Committee shall make recommendations for improvements in curricula and teaching techniques; methods of instruction and class size; tests and assessments; resources, equipment, and professional matters.

This committee also includes supporting opportunities such as graduate-level coursework and credential advancement to strengthen both our professional expertise and the quality of education in our schools. 

Your participation and input are essential as we work together to influence policy, support professional development, and ensure high standards of teaching and learning for our community.
