Kerry Hammon is a science teacher at Neshaminy High School in Langhorne, PA. She has taught biology and Human Anatomy and Physiology to 9-12 graders for 25 years. During her career as a classroom teacher, she has emphasized the importance of evidence in understanding and applying scientific principles with her students. She believes developing critical thinking is essential to her student’s current and future success. 

Kerry is currently the Executive Secretary of the Neshaminy Federation of Teachers (Local 1417) and serves as a Building Representative, Community Outreach Co-Chairperson, Social Justice committee member, Committee to Support Public Education committee member and Social Committee member. Previously, she held the positions of NFT Recording Secretary and Discipline Committee Chairperson. Her focus for the 2024-2025 school year is to facilitate the NFT’s contract campaign in preparation for upcoming contract negotiations in 2025. 

Kerry lives with her husband, Joel, and has two children, Maddie and Nathan. She is enthusiastic about organizing, is an active reader and traveler, and is always open to having new adventures.
