Shop with a Cop! (Volunteer Opportunity)

This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Shop with a Cop program — a heartwarming event that pairs police officers with children to help make their holiday season a little brighter. The program provides a wonderful opportunity for children to see police officers in a positive and caring light, helping to build trust and lasting relationships within the community.

Shop with a Cop serves elementary and middle school students from Lower Bucks County whose families may be experiencing challenges such as unemployment, homelessness, military deployment, or financial hardship. Through this event, children can enjoy a memorable holiday experience filled with kindness and support.

This year, organizers have requested that Neshaminy teachers join in the fun by serving as Shopping Buddies and helping the event run smoothly! Shopping Buddies play an important role by assisting officers who may need an extra set of hands or eyes. You’ll spend time with a child while they wait in line to pay, guide them to the gift-wrapping station, and help them reconnect with their parent or guardian — ensuring every participant has a safe and joyful experience.
