Suzi Drake, a member of the Neshaminy High School Class of 1985, is an 11th grade English teacher and Interact Club Advisor at her alma mater. Suzi has been teaching for over 30 years! Advocating for her students evolved into advocating for her colleagues when she joined the NFT Executive Board in 2014 as the Vice-President representing the high school. Prior to elected office, she had served as a high school building representative and a member of the communications team. Drake's roles in the union are varied as she is the liaison for the Neshaminy Education Foundation, is co-chair of the Community Outreach Committee and is a member of the Social Justice Committee. A champion for the underserved, Drake has represented the NFT at the AFT Civil, Human and Women's Rights conference, has participated in numerous lobby days in Washington, DC and has trained with the AFT/Cornell-ILR Collective Bargaining Intensive. In her spare (hah) time, Suzi loves to read and travel, often reading about where she will go next.
