The NFT Education Committee advances high-quality teaching and learning by making recommendations on curricula, instruction, class size, assessments, resources, and other professional matters, and by presenting these through participation in NSD School Board and NFT Education Committee meetings. We also promote professional growth opportunities — including graduate coursework, advanced degrees, and credential advancement — to strengthen our members’ expertise and enrich education for our students. 

What We Do 

• Meet to review the Educational Development Committee agenda before board sessions.
• Attend NSD School Board meetings to represent and advocate for our members’ priorities.
